About Me

Ingrid Kromer: Ingrid started her career in fitness in 1995 by receiving her certification from the American Council of Exercise and the Johnny G Spin program so she could “moonlight.” Always an athlete when growing up and growing bored of the corporate world, she decided to follow her fitness passion and started her own personal training business in 1997. That year, Ingrid trained with the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society to run her first marathon and was asked to start Team-In-Training’s cycling program – the first of its kind. Windy City Sports nominated her as one of the “top 50 female athletes to know.” These accomplishments were confirmation she made the right move. In 1999, Ingrid started the first women’s-only ½ marathon training team for the Chicago Half Marathon. Her organizational skills got the attention of one of the largest health club chains in the country, which offered Ingrid an amazing opportunity to work at a national-level in marketing. Ingrid spent the next 11 years developing community outreach, partnerships and large local events for all 324 clubs. Leaving her health club chain career, Ingrid is ready to create an exciting new concept Whole Body Fitness.
